Family and I stayed at Great Wolf Lodge in Scottsdale in February. My son (pictured below) had over 60 bed bug bites after staying there.

These bites were confirmed by a pediatrician. The room was confirmed positive by a pest control company. Great Wolf Lodge has still not refunded or provided vouchers for this.

I have called several times and spent hours on the phone. This disgusting establishment should be sued for their filth and complete lack of follow-through.

Nothing, Please stay away from Expedia

Due to an emergency eye surgery for a detached retina, I found out about the possibility of losing my sight on May 13, 2025. The day before, we had to fly. Our flight was on May 14, 2005; my emergency surgery was performed on May 15, 2025. I did contact Expedite on the 13th or 14th to cancel and explain why I had to cancel. We were packed and had a ride to the airport, but I could not fly due to the possibility of losing my sight in my left eye. I have all documentation to substantiate my situation; I would be happy to provide all the documents. I reached out to Expedia many times; they are blaming Grey Wolf Inn in West Yellowstone, and your Wolf Creek employee blamed Expedia. I asked to speak to the manager; I was transferred to the manager's phone, but there was no answer. I left a message asking to please call me back; I am still waiting. As you see, if I had kept my reservation, I would have possibly lost my sight. The doctor told me emphatically that I could not fly. My wife and I are heartbroken due to not being able to take our 11-day trip. We are both over 75, and soon we will probably not travel much more; I am a veteran too. I offered a solution to Expedia, but they did not respond. Now we are asking for a refund of $180.31. Why didn't the manager call me back? I wanted to offer a solution. My blood pressure has elevated since having to deal with getting help. Expedia is a useless company as far as help is concerned. Hopefully, you will understand my plight! Please look into my story.

I understand Grey wolf Lodge response,. Expedia has fooled me, putting the blame pointing to Grey Wolf., Thrm when does Grey Wolf receive payment ?

But due to my emergency and the timeframe I was in, I still have a chance right to pursue some compensation. Fighting for I know is right, because of my circumstance. Customer service for some companies has been a thing of the past. You must understand, still possible I could lose my eyesight, someone representing Grey Wolf make it clear, no insurance no refund.

May bc e if K K ox would have had the courage to call this issue could have been solved, but o bc will see this to the end.

First off, leave the lodge out of this. You are Expedia’s customer as far as payment and refunds.

You gave up the convenience of dealing with the lodge when YOU chose Expedia.

Unless you had travel insurance you are out of luck. So take your next step whatever that is.

I’m not affiliated with the lodge. You posted on a consumer complaint site visited by 3+ million people each month.

There are thousands of companies here. Anyone can comment. Again, Expedia is who you contact for payment or refund issues.

You inserted a middleman, Expedia. The lodge can’t refund Expedia’s money.

So I guess Grey Wolf des not receive my payment. I do not comprehend that comment.

So you’re telling me, Expedia jkeeps the the funds. Some are telling me I do not deserve a refund due to not having insurance.

I guess some believe , there is no reason if you have to cancel. We had 10 hours before our flight, and I canceled May 13 or 14thc 4 or 5 days before our stay begins on the 18th of May, no hard feelings, but I will proceed with my dilemma.

People always cancel for a reason. If there is a no refund policy your reason is moot.

No matter how serious.

The thing about insurance is it pays you your money back for a qualified reason. Nowhere does it tell you “no refund unless your reason is serious enough”.

Nothing when we call Colorado Springs to check on extra charges we will be charged to get true total we are kept on hold and no one ever answers our calls.

Customer service Reservation issue

I made reservations back in June for 8/13-8/15. I have been trying to get a night added and come a day early with no success, with rates not being over double the rates I paid for the other 2 nights.

I just wanted to come on 8/12 instead of 8/13 and still stay until 8/15. I bring my kids here every year since my son was born, and now that my daughter has been born, we are starting to come for 2 nights a year. Families staying an extra night is bringing Wolf Lodge more money.

Customer service is putting the booking in as a 1-night stay, which makes rates higher when it's not 1 night; it's 3. I hope I can get some help with this.

My son had a stroke and has difficulty with certain things. We help him with his pants constantly to keep them up while at GWL a group of teenagers began to bully him.

It really upset my son and my husband asked them to stop, they proceeded to threaten him. Then security told us they cant guarantee his safety.

Just sad my son was targeted and they just did the bare minimum. And he didnt feel safe after.

I called three times in a row to be put on hold for 13 minutes the first time 17 minutes the second time and 36 minutes to third time only to never be in contact with anybody. Worst customer service ever.

The worst experience customer service there was horrible. There was a family fighting, and my children were crying.

The police were called. The outside park was not open as they said it would be. This was for my daughter's birthday, and it wasn't enjoyable.

My husband booked the reservation under his email, kedric.gibson.kg@***.com. We have reached out from his email and my email, but there was no response.

I think I covered it, no one has responded to me, Grey Wolf and The lodge at Jackson Hole, has not given me the time up day. Of course, Expedia does not have a real email address, I had many email addresses that were returned undeliverable, I finally found one after 5 days.

Unexpected charges

I checked in with no extra charges. I came that evening and asked if I had a meal package and was told yes and given the passes.

The next morning I received text saying to come to update my payment information and was given a $1200 bill.

I want my money back!! I paid in advance for the stay.

This place is a joke, man. Agers, don't call you back.

You sit on hold for an hour, and no manager comes to the phone. I've called three times and been put on hold every time for more than thirty minutes.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Behavior at Grand Wolf Water Park on April 12th

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint about an incident that occurred at Grand Wolf Water Park on April 12th, 2025.

Upon arrival, my family and I initially enjoyed our time at the park. However, our experience took a distressing turn when an employee behaved unprofessionally towards my six-year-old son.

After he fell and was visibly upset, the employee laughed at him, causing him significant emotional distress. When I confronted the employee, she denied the incident despite my presence.

This behavior is unacceptable and has left my son feeling intimidated and upset. We traveled three hours to visit your park, and this incident has profoundly impacted our experience.

I request a full refund for our visit and a formal apology from the employee involved to my son. This is not only about compensation but also about ensuring that such behavior is addressed and prevented in the future.

They are NOT entitled to a full refund.

They should stay at home if they want a refund. Would not surprise me if they were LYING just to get a refund, or in hopes of getting a refund.
